Offering classes for the beginner as well as the experienced we can provide you with all of the tools, supplies, and know how to create designs of your very own.
Jana Moore studied Art at OCU and has a degree in Art and Education. She owned and operated a Gallery in Taos, New Mexico where she taught herself to do stained glass. It quickly became her passion and now 32 years later she operates a full service studio, sharing her knowledge and experience with others. Jana says “It’s all about color and design.” Just looking around the studio is an inspiration. It’s easy to see that the possibilities are endless.

These pretty 4 x 4 lidded boxes have a beveled top that hinges open. They are fun to make and lend themselves to fun and whimsey. They make great graduation gifts.

BEGINNING STAINED GLASS |

This class consists of four, three hour sessions of totally hands-on instruction and fabrication. The classes meet on the same week-day and time for four consecutive weeks. We cover layout, cutting, gringing, foiling and soldering. All the supplies and tools needed are supplied for you with the expection on the soldering iron and glass cutter. We have several styles and price ranges of these (with a discount) for those of you wanting to purchase. We also have soldering irons available to rent for use in the classes. No make-up classes available. Pre-registeration with deposit needed. Class requires minimum of three to make. |

Lead Came Construction |

Learn the lead came method of doing stained glass. This class will meet weekly for four class sessions. As in all of the classes, this is a totally "hands on" class. You will be building a window with a bevel cluster center using lead came. All supplies are included in the class cost. Bring your glass cutter and soldering iron. Previous stained glass experience required (i.e.Beginning stained glass). Pre- registration needed. Class need minimum of three to meet. |

BASIC FUSING |

This is an opportunity to learn the basics of glass fusing. We will be using a table top kiln which will give quick results and allow for several firings. Learn the kiln basics, the right glass combinations and create several small pieces. No previous glass experience needed. The class could run long depending on the progress of the projects.

Found Objects Class" - Depression glass plates, agates, crystals, vintage
silver and costume jewelry. Learn how to combine these inspiring, pretty and
sometimes sentimental objects, along with traditional stained glass, into
beautiful windows or suncatchers. Bring your own objects or individual items
available for purchase from Jana's. We will customize a design specifically
around the objects you select for your window.
Cost of class $150.00 plus materials . Tools needed are your soldering iron and glass cutter . If you don't have these 2 tools, arrangements can be made for you. Must have previous glass experience.
This is a 6 hour class devided into two 3 hour sessions meeting Saturday, the 12th and the 19th .
Previous foil and some lead experience needed. Pre-registation and deposit required. Class need a minimum of three students to meet.
